Project III. Establishing Design System

Analyze \

Problems.

The existing UI library is outdated and no longer meets the current design and technology requirements.

Define \

Objectives. My goal for this project was to create a cohesive and adaptable design system for EADB, going beyond just a components library.

Solutions.
  • Consistency: Developed a comprehensive style guide to ensure uniformity in typography, colors, and styles across EADB, establishing a cohesive visual language.
  • Efficiency: Created reusable UI components to streamline development and maintain a consistent user experience across the dashboard.
  • Scalability: Implemented flexible design elements to accommodate future updates and features, allowing seamless integration without disrupting the overall design system.

Impact. The design system provides a comprehensive framework that includes components, guidelines, principles, and standards for consistent design implementation across the Ezze platform. It adapts to the evolving needs of EDB, incorporating new design trends and emerging technologies.

This approach also fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams. By promoting effective communication and ensuring all team members can access and contribute to the shared design system, I create an environment where ideas are exchanged, insights are gained, and the development process is continually improved.

Design \

To support our development team, I added quick actions such as “Go to component” and made all design elements linkable, saving them time and ensuring easy access to desired information or components.
